With both a free and paid version, the well-known fitness app FitOn offers a wealth of features, including celebrity workouts. FitOn appears to have everything you need for a successful at-home fitness program: it offers a variety of workouts and meal planning, with motivational advice to top it all off. But is FitOn an unreal offer? For more information about FitOn, read this article.
What Is FitOn App?
As a free fitness app for women, FitOn is promoted. There is literally something for everyone and every fitness level thanks to the variety of streaming classes available, which include yoga, pilates, barre, strength training, HIIT, cardio, and more.
The exercises can all be performed without special equipment at home. In fact, a lot of the exercises don’t even call for any equipment, which is great for those who haven’t recently had access to exercise equipment.
How Does FitOn Work?
Create a profile and download the app from the app store to get going. The setup process will then be explained to you and will involve a series of questions about your fitness level, demographics, fitness preferences, and other factors.
You’re going to adore the way they walk you through how to set up and give you recommendations for programs if you’re someone who is just beginning their journey toward fitness. You’ll also find a ton of value here if you’re a fitness expert seeking to diversify your routine and try something new.
You’ll have the choice of making a predetermined plan to adhere to or simply picking and choosing which videos you want to watch and watching them on demand. It’s fantastic how flexible it is!
What Kinds Of Workouts Does FitOn Offer?
The options for exercises are countless! Since I enjoy variety, this app is perfect for me. Here is a sample of the types of workouts you can find on FitOn:
- Yoga
- Stretch
- HIIT
- Strength
- Cardio
- Toning
- Pilates
- Quick Hits
- Dance
- Barre
- Celebrity
- Kinrgy
- Before Bed
- At Work
- Beginner
- Low Impact
- Circuits
- Home Gym
- Small Space
- With Kids
- Prenatal
- Postnatal
No matter what your level of fitness, ability, or preferences are, as you can see, there is literally something here for everyone.
How To Download And Launch FitOn?
- If you already have an account, you can sign up with it or log in using it. Your Facebook name, profile picture, and email are used by the app when you sign up.
- Next, FitOn asks for permission to send you notifications, after which you create a profile that allows the app to make workout recommendations you’ll like;
- Your gender, date of birth, height, weight, and fitness goal are all basic details that must be included in this profile. FitOn offers a number of options, but only allows you to select one, which I found odd considering that most people have overlapping objectives, such as losing weight while simultaneously building muscle;
- FitOn then asks you what your goal weight is, how many workouts you want in a week, and how long you want these workouts to be;
- Finally, you decide on the workouts you like. This is where FitOn does let you pick more than one option, which I appreciate since it creates a variety and prevents boredom;
- The app ends by requesting that you connect to your contacts or invite friends. This is beneficial because exercising with a partner is more efficient than exercising alone, but FitOn is overbearing here! It keeps asking even if you decline, which can get irritating;
- Once you’ve registered, you can look through the app to schedule workout reminders. Your preferences and objectives are also changeable at any time.
What Equipment Do You Need?
Except for a yoga mat and some comfortable flooring, you really don’t need much equipment to do this exercise. There are a ton of exercises you can do using only your own body weight.
You might want to have a few pairs of dumbbells for the strength exercises. I advise a light set and a medium set as a minimum. I recommend a pair of 5s and a pair of 10s for women who are intermediate to advanced in their skill level. Having more options does, of course, increase your ability to grow and challenge yourself, but it’s not required.
Weights are unavailable to you because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Soup cans, water jugs, laundry detergent, and other containers are not uncommon. can all be used in place of weights. Get inventive and you’ll still get a fantastic workout!
The Price Of The Subscription
The FitOn app’s coolest feature is that you can access all of the workouts and programs for free, making it the most feature-rich fitness app available that you can use without spending a dime.
FitOn does, however, provide a “Pro” version with a few extra benefits:
- Customized meal plans
- Over 500 recipes
- Digital Coaching
- Unlimited offline downloads
- Fitness tracker integration
- Premium music
Although these are some really nice extras, using the app effectively does not require you to pay for them. But given that the Pro version’s price is quite affordable, I still think it’s worthwhile to upgrade.
They offer two payment options—a six-month and a twelve-month plan—but it seems like there is almost always a sale going on. Both plans are 70% complete as of the time of this writing.
- 6 months for $19.99 USD (Instead of $69.99)
- 1 year for $29.99 USD (Instead of $99.99)
The good news is that you can use the free version as a “trial” for as long as you like and then upgrade if and when you decide to take nutrition seriously. I went ahead and enrolled in the 6-month plan because $7 per month seemed fair for the added features.
How Does FitOn Differ From Other Fitness Apps?
When compared to other fitness apps, FitOn stands out for the following four reasons:
- The top-notch workout videos mimic the atmosphere of expensive studio fitness classes.
- There is a huge variety of exercises available. Everybody can find something to enjoy, including workouts led by celebrities.
- The FitOn App’s social component greatly enhances motivation. You can plan workouts and invite your friends so you can support one another.
- The cost: The FitOn Pro paid version is very reasonably priced, especially if you pay yearly, and the main app is entirely free.
Customer Reviews
- THE BEST fitness app is FitOn. I’ve tried a lot, but this one is perfect for me at the free level: engaging workouts with expert instructors, for every level of fitness and every kind of activity, the ability to enter my own activities and calories and track them along with workouts from the app.
- Due to time and financial constraints, I haven’t worked out in many years, but I adore this app! I adore the variety of exercises, how quickly they can all be completed, and how I can pick the mode and level of difficulty.
- i used to workout all the time, played 3 sports in high school.. and maintained a healthy 110lbs til i was 27. then before ya know it, i’m 31 years old and 150lbs barely fitting into clothes and super discouraged about myself.
Conclusions
FitOn is an excellent app for at-home workouts overall because it always offers something new. All devices can use the app, which has a user-friendly interface with a unique design. Only after you use this app can you know whether it suits you or not.
